G'Day Sizzlers!
Well I am happy to say that we have implemented a new helpdesk
system. This was long overdue and the team tells me that the
system from InverseFlow.com has been easy to work with and set
up. The true test of course will be how it works under the load
of enquires from our customers (you!). Dan Ushman from InverseFlow
has guaranteed us that the system will more than cope with our
needs. In fact he beleives it should mean that our helpdesk staff
will now have an easy centralised system, accessible from
anywhere in the world. This is really handy as our staff are
distributed all over the world. Of course as with all new system
implementations there are sure to be some tweaks along the way
but I am sure we will get any ironed out. Remember it is because
of requests from users like you, that we have gone out and
implemented a better support system than we had in the past.

Along with Kevin's insights into HotDog Professional, this week
we also have a detailed teaser describing our new Content
Management System. Due for release next week this system will be
free to Sausage Hosting customers who sign up before the 11th

Multi File Find & Replace
This week I've just got to tell you about another great utility
in HotDog that gets more useful the larger your website, although
it's just as great if you have only 2 web pages to your site!
I've been using the 'Multi File Find & Replace' wizard on the
Edit menu. Quite simply it's a Find and Replace function that
will make as many changes as you want to as many files as you
want - and it's easy to use!
On a number of occasions now most of my clients have required
changes of a specific word or phrase or a change of link, etc.
throughout their entire website. I just used to grit my teeth and
go through every file and make the changes - but when the client
wanted several changes throughout I must admit to trying to put
off the job.
Now I can specify as many changes as I want to as many files as I
want by using the step-by-step wizard! Frequently I will use this
to change things like dates, contact details and links as well as
words, phrases and code. It's also cut down on the amount of
proof-reading I have to do too!
If you've been reading my articles you'll know that I've been
comparing my work efficiency against my colleagues and I've had
time to spare thanks to HotDog and SizzlerForums' support and
help. Now my colleagues are looking over my shoulder to see just
how I get so much fun in my work. I think it's time I got rid of
the pups they work with and gave them a HotDog instead!
